Day 772 Our Relationship with Animals

Here I will be addressing our relationship with Animals. Us as the all of us. All of us human beings and how we relate to animals. It shouldn't be a surprise yet it will be a surprise nonetheless that our relationship with animals is filled with separation. Often we immediately look at the points of Animal Extinction, Exploiting animals for profit, factory farming, physically abusing animals. Obviously all of this is indicating some form of separation that is going on, I mean there has to be right? But its not that simple. How people respond normally is within judgment of good/bad. People think that if there is going to a criticism of some people, that some people have to be the bad guys and that some acts are simply bad. Those whoever that truly live by and work side by side animals like Fully and like Completely know that good/bad and morality are not real things that animals understand or live. Animals do kill one another, sometimes to eat the other, other times because of t...

Day 735 Friend

Image
I am looking at the word Friend today. And with looking at this word I am reminded of one of my very old friends, the Trees. There have been times in my life where I didn't have any human friends, actually for many long periods of my life. But the trees were a old reliable friend. There is a book called the Giving Tree. It helped me see that Trees are alive and that they give themselves as how they describe in the book. And I remember my mom telling me to stop hitting a tree with a stick, and how it feels pain. Trees do bleed sap. I remember I would draw trees as a kid There were specific trees that I would go visit. Some when I especially was sad and lonely. Resting my head against the one branch of this one tree. I would look at a tree and I could see all its splendor. I could hear in my head the voices the trees and plants would make, or at least I would imagine it. How I would say hello silently within myself to them, and I would hear right away how they say hi back al...

Our Fundamental Human Rights

Image
Fundamental Human Rights We all have the right to live well. Currently our system is a free for all bull-pen. Anything goes. We have some laws to control, but even the laws are hijacked. It is not at its very core a system of benevolance of love of care of life. It is a system of domination of advantage of exploitation of quick schemes, of cash of power. Our current system will implode, devastatingly unless we change it. Unless we change what we believe is possible, and change what we believe we should do. Its all based on belief. Money is also a belief. It wont have any power if no one believes it does. If we start seeing LIFE as valuable, and start changing ourselves through our words, what we express and write, and what we do, so that we express the value of Life, then we can make it so. We can successfully change the system for real. At the fundamental level we have to change the system. At the very levels describe here in this video. We can invent new ways to relate,...

Day 60 People and Animals

So I have been watching the videos from DODO that share videos on facebook, that I see while scrolling through facebook. Its all about animals. Its hard to put in words . There are people that care about animals, that GIVE UP their lives and self-definition and money to take on a NEW self-definition and Life that is about raising, caring for the animals, to the utmost degree. You can call this real Love. real Care. This is something I would do. And this is the BEST of Humanity, and the human spirit. https://www.facebook.com/yogan.barrientos/posts/10217804753097519?__xts__[0]=68.ARDxH-SH1CSRhDgwSC_7AU3P6b5Vr42GnyvReMxOLUmFPJdcK7AAvifRiTgJw_XEbqfXcIeKyADbKKC7oO7vvYa4tbaDPh8UTKzn2xtEjIEjIeqAyx8s6TvlWbvUafJeT0L_XUJmAWu6cN00eeiovQC0wgGhtWrZ90GytVyQLN9w-dGunPL48abcFqxnsBY7aTaXfFkuGM5HQyMvJUoStFYZdaVWHyMHIOdCnw8&__tn__=-R https://www.facebook.com/yogan.barrientos/posts/10217804171682984?__xts__[0]=68.ARCEY943k6BB42k5tK1X_y8ucFiis9sCOiuUfiC1k-9i67Px1wX9dhn7816DeRKp_xMUe-kQVOpc7rQrddG_...

Day22 I am a Human. I am a Piece of this Earth and of Life itself

What was discovered through the Portal was that the entirety of the Heaven existence, including all the beings that had passed over, lived in separation of this Earth existence. Basically not concerning themselves at all with what was happening on Earth. The same thing is happening on Earth. I am a HUman, I am a piece of this Earth and of Life itself. To care about everything, to care about all that is happening right now on Earth is my responsibility. All the problems that exist is my responsibility. All the war, the strife, the violence, the poverty, the pain and suffering is my responsibility. All the people who live in ignorance bliss is my responsibility. My generational history, my genetic history, my appearance, my education, my past, my money, doesn't excuse me from being responsible for all that exists all across the world. It doesn't matter where in the world. I am a piece of Life. This doesn't stop at the borders of any country. This doesn't stop at the t...

Lifeism

Okay so I'm making up a word in order to communicate how I view the world to someone I meet. Lifeism. This is the view that everything in this existence is alive. The earth, sand, gravel, water, air, plants, animals. And that all is one and equal in value of life. Alive here means aware. So all of these things is aware. So there is nothing in existence that isn't aware, and so alive. So eating animals or plants you are eating something aware, so in that sense it doesn't matter if you eat an animal or plant. What matters is how you treat the plant and animal while it is alive, like how animals are treated in factory farming for example. I believe or follow Lifeism as opposed to Monotheism, like Christianity or Islam, or Judiasm. In these religions they paint the Earth as a dead thing, that was created by God that is there to Serve Man. I don't believe in that, which is what I just Said with Lifeism. Everything is alive and aware. I can't necessarily prove this ...

Day 42 The Physical, Continued

The Earth, the air, the water, the land, the nature, the plant. Animals, the body, the muscles, organs, cells. Physical. To serve this physical reality. To serve this body. To live for the physical. Living as the physical. Living as the hands, arms, legs, toes, chest, breath, body. Moving, doing what is needed for the physical. Imagine people living as Physical. Imagine all physical needs taken care of. Imagine growth and expansion of the physical. Imagine the nurture, care of the physical. Imagine Living as the physical. Imagine living no more as mind. Imagine Living no more as what we think. Imagine all definitions we think, opinions we think DROP. Imagine Only Being Here, Physical. Imagine only the physical is here. Lets stop serving the mind, and instead use the Mind to serve the Physical. No more separation.

Day 7 Equal Love

When I had a partner I told her that I love her equally. We were talking about how come we loved each other, and I told her, "In truth I know that I could love anyone equally, meaning that it just happens to be you, but it could have been anyone." Suffice to say, NO ONE, in present times, would want to hear that. What do people want to hear, they want to hear how you are special, how you are so beautiful, so wonderful, so precious. My father even tried to teach me that. So this is no secret. But I didn't do that in that moment. For me, I tried not to add any energy to the relationship. I tried to maintain oneness and equality. Because relationships based on specialness or unequal love, is a lie. If you love anyone more than anyone else, that is a lie. Equal love is true love. Equal love is loving everyone equally. This isn't a grand statement. You don't try to increase the energy within you to feel love for everyone. You actually decrease the energy within you...

You have Cow Eyes

Image
You have cows eyes. Would you want to be told this? It turns out that this was actually a compliment of beauty back in the day. Because if you ever see into the eyes of a real cow, it is one of the most beautiful things.  And back in the day, people were more connected to agriculture, and to cows and farms. For example, before the industrial revolution. about 90% of the population in United States worked on farms or agriculture. And today, less that 5% work on farms. So there has been a major shift. People now adays have lost the presence of nature in their everyday life, and they have distorted views of the natural world. For example, calling someone a cow, is considered an insult. So is calling someone a pig. This shows how lost and separate we are from these animals. Beauty itself has become distorted, where ugliness and beauty are tied to a creation that is outside of ourselves. Namely, the fashion industry, and beauty industry. We are told and shown what is beautif...

Connecting with my dogs 255

Connecting with my dogs. I accessed my memories of who I was when I was very young. By accessing these memories I am accessing both who I was and who I could be. I have always had the potential to connect with people, animals, and plants. And I have done so in the past, during the years as a child. By accessing my memories of who I was when I was young, I can again do the same, and perhaps more. Because I was always limited in how much I connected with people, animals and plants, in my past. And now looking back I see that. So what I am seeing is the potential to connect even more. When I connect with plants or my dogs, I become silent, and I focus on myself, what is here. My emotions are not activated, and my experience of myself isn’t fluctuation, but instead it’s continuous and steady. There is a connection formed, one that is firm, and clear. I may enter the mind, which involves thinking, but I can bring myself back here. Entering the mind becomes obvious be...

The Animal Kingdom Day 187

Image
"I am one and equal to my dog Shana" Read this blog for context: http://yoganjourneytolife.blogspot.com/2014/10/what-has-been-forsaken-and-forgotten.html So when walking my dog Shana, like today, I try to keep pace with her. Meaning I am not too far ahead or behind her. I try to allow her to explore and go where she wants. I say try, because sometimes I require to direct her, which I do, when I see its important. One danger, is that she would fight with a female dog. Dogs of the same sex, female-female, or male-male, tend to fight. It hasn't happened in a long time, but it could happen. So I do have to be aware of the surroundings. Also when we cross streets, I need to make sure she does it quick enough to avoid an accident with the cars. We also cannot walk for forever, so I do guide her back and bring her back home. The same principles described here, I see being relevant to all other contexts of my life. For example, I require to guide and direct myself sometimes, ...

Day 53: We are the Environment

Image
So continuing with the discussion of what is best for all...          I was looking at this situation, there is a being who is in this world with many other beings. This world is here, its stable from a rule based perspective. Physics describe the physical rules. There are many many different stable relationships in the physical and many different substances and interactions that occur in predictable fashions. I made a comment or claim to another being once that humans should aspire to be like a tree. I mean this in the sense that humans learn commitment and stability. Trees are committed to living in a way to simultaneously support themselves and the environment around them. They are clear in who they are, and trees together have an accumulative effect that support life and the environment. You see, without the environment humans would be nothing, life would be nothing. The environment is the physical, and it includes nature, and the animal king...

Day-28: Mechanistic Mind; What do we Miss in our Pursuit of Comfort?

Image
-->          Looking at how humans currently relate to animals and plants, we see the earth as a resource, an essentially dead thing. So too we treat the animals and plants on the earth where they readily are killed for our interest and profit. If you have not already I suggest watching Human Resources- Social Engineering in the20th Century, they make a point that our current philosophy is the mechanistic approach which capitalism embodies. We see humans as machines to be controlled as well as the animals, plants and earth itself. We see this embodied in many forms in entertainment, where super heroes, action movies, readily destroy things. A personal story related to this, I had as a child been very fascinated and enjoyed destruction where the very thought of buildings getting destroyed or fighting occurring where the entire environment would get beat up and all this action, and technology would be firing… it was exciting. All th...
