Day 724 Celebrate Those who are Better than You

When it came to comparing myself to others in where they are in their process. Meaning how "advanced" or "skilled" someone is... well first off that idea is wrong already. Each person develops their own skill in a particular area of themselves... so there are differences, and different skills. And secondly both time spent in process makes a difference. Obviously though those who have walked longer have more experience, because they spent more time at it. When it came to the point of jealousy of someone who is more skilled than I, this is what I did. I choose to see them as a teacher. I choose to make it a statement of celebration: "wow! that's great they have achieved this!!!! The world is better for it!!! They are better for it!!! And I am better for it!!! So it always a celebration when someone is super strong, super skilled, and advanced!"  So with this perspective its always STUPID to react or think its bad that someone is super advanced ...

Day 50 - Make the MOST of what you GOT!!!

Even Einstein had a mother, had people in his life. He was born in a country that had stability. He had school, he had teachers. He had food. Now, I didn't look up these facts, but its logical. Its logical because of how things work. The point is that in my life everything I have done and have achieved, everything I will do and achieve, everything is due to many many people who have been there for me and supported me in some way or another. These include parents who fed me. Now, even if your parents were alcoholic and abusive, they also did things that supported you, even if it was just food. The point here is that no man or woman is an island, no man or woman does it ALONE. Your literal body was born into this world through two people, and your defenseless helpless as a baby. You somehow got raised. Not everyone makes it that far. So yes there are bad things. There are wars, and instability. Your country may not be safe. And these are all bad things. So when you look at someone li...

The Best For Everyone

Politics describes any situation where a group of people come together to make a decision . The group of people can be any size: a household, a neighborhood, a town, a state, a country, a continent, or a planet. It can be any decision . Politics should be aligned with doing what is best for everyone. This is because doing what is best for everyone is the best way for everyone to live.  This is because if everyone does what is best for everyone, everyone receives the best possible things, actions, gifts, support, and so opportunity to live the best possible life. And if everyone receives what is best for everyone, then that means you also receive what is best as well.  Through politics we can create jobs that serve what is best for everyone and change existing jobs so that they serve what is best for everyone. For example, where integrity is the highest principle in a job where honesty, respect, regard, honor and consideration c...

When a thought or opinion becomes your identity 332

Do you hate or love Democrats or Republicans? Do you hate or love Black people or white people? Do you hate or love old people or young people? Do you hate or love family or friends? Do you hate or love animals, plants or humans? Do you hate or love yourself, everyone, or no one? What I have observed is that when you react to what is here, you place yourself in an inferior position to what is here. However if you accept what is here, as what is here, and then live to make what is here better, and into what is best, then you are living a fulfilled life. Therefore you cannot react to what is here. You cannot react to anyone based on political affiliation, race, skin color, your relationship history, being a friend or family member, for being an animal, plant or human. You cannot react even if they have wronged you and are not doing what is best, are not better what is here, and are reacting to what is here. For if you react, you are simply participating in the same thing that...

My story: why I support Living Income Part 1

Image
So why do I support Living Income? Well, I haven't always supported living income. Today that I write this I am 24 years old, next month turning 25. When I was 18 years old, I believe Enlightenment is what Humanity needed, meaning that I had to become enlightened, like the gurus of India. This idea I had since I was very young around middle school especially (around 13 years old). But it had it roots earlier in that, from growing up with my parents, since as young as 7 years old, my mother and father taught us about meditation. So this is my story. How did I, someone who grow up in a spiritual family, who's parents both believed in enlightenment as the best course to take, and who himself believed so for practically 11 years, change his point of view, that we actually need to change not only ourselves, which is what enlightenment is about, but to also at the same time changing how the world works out there, what we call the System. And also, how did I then make enlightenm...

Day-32:OutRage

Image
So im going to look at a small point, the thought that, when hearing that only a few prosper from the system we have, the Immediate Reaction that We Have of Thinking, No, wait the majority of Humans are Happy, the majority are well, and are taken care of, isn’t this so?                 So this statement for me is a difficult point to face as I  can imagine all the points people can bring up, which are existent within me obviously otherwise I would not have them. People may say, but where we are now is soooooo much better than 100 years ago. People live longer, they use to die at a younger age. We have technology, cell phones, and medicine and even a public education system where anyone can get educated now, so there are no excuses for suffering. These statements I just wrote out shows the general ignorance and denial that many Americans live in and I bet Europeans too. Looking at history, wh...

Day-28: Mechanistic Mind; What do we Miss in our Pursuit of Comfort?

Image
-->          Looking at how humans currently relate to animals and plants, we see the earth as a resource, an essentially dead thing. So too we treat the animals and plants on the earth where they readily are killed for our interest and profit. If you have not already I suggest watching Human Resources- Social Engineering in the20th Century, they make a point that our current philosophy is the mechanistic approach which capitalism embodies. We see humans as machines to be controlled as well as the animals, plants and earth itself. We see this embodied in many forms in entertainment, where super heroes, action movies, readily destroy things. A personal story related to this, I had as a child been very fascinated and enjoyed destruction where the very thought of buildings getting destroyed or fighting occurring where the entire environment would get beat up and all this action, and technology would be firing… it was exciting. All th...
