Day 811 Economics/World

This is an economic/world system post. So I read this article that interviews Chomsky. https://jacobinmag.com/2020/03/noam-chomsky-bernie-sanders-reform-labor?fbclid=IwAR1lqwspL2ZVDyh8NX_xhlLLr9KGx4HTUhX6bRqoApbiX48UW9BhY2BW3W8 So Chomsky is pretty old now, and he along with several others figures I can name: Bernie Sanders, Chris Hedges, are all old together. And they all throughout time fought for the truth: not for money or fame, and not for conspiracy theories. So basically I am saying I trust them because of their life long commitment to the truth and you can see it in their actions. There are not many people that I can say I trust to deliver on their word/promises and with what they say being true. So in the article he touches on and briefly introduces the point of what has been happening in the world. There is a class warfare as he called it. Or a corporation warfare or business warfare, where corporations and businesses have actively fought to suppress workers and to re...

Money can change the world now.

What do you think of a life of a person who works to make the most money he can make with his skill and ability, but then lives a very modest and austere lifestyle, and uses the money to support change in the world? I would think such an individual would be a great individual. Because they are committing their time to the fullest, and they are using their dollars to the fullest, because they are careful with money, and they use what money they can to support change in the world so that it will impact everyone. What do you think will happen if everyone does this? Or even a few more people today and each day? What if we all really value our dollars and spend it wisely? One investment is to spend your money to support the needs of a person who is dedicated and committed to daily create content to change people's awareness and support them to change themselves. This is a good investment because it is a investment in the change of people, who in turn can support and contribute to the ...

The greatest act of Love

What is the greatest act of Love? To answer this question, it seems logical that the greatest act of love would be an action that addresses the greatest amount of suffering. Addresses it in such a way that the suffering is eliminated. And not only eliminated, but replaces the suffering with what should have been there before: support. So in our quest-ion to find the greatest act of Love, we must find the greatest suffering. I have an answer, so let's see what you think. I found a statistic that says 80% of people live on less than $10 dollars a day. So that means that 20% of people on the planet earn more than $10. I know for myself, as someone who lives in United States, that it would be impossible to live on just $10 dollars a day. I earn much more than $10 each day. So the same is true for people in United States, Canada, Europe, Australia, Japan. That we all earn more than $10 a day. When I think of other problems, maybe disasters, health problems, lack of food, lack of edu...

Money Defines Me

Image
So I saw this video and decided to do a post on this subject. https://www.facebook.com/video.php?v=997679220290124 So within me I have identified the same point, and it is a common point in people of today. Where how much money you make is something that defines and values people. This is a sad point. Because we miss so much on so many great people, and we miss out so much in life. Because for example, we believe that something has to cost money to be fun. When fun is here to be had anywhere. You can have fun with objects, with nature and people, and it doesn't cost any money. So much becomes limited and put into a box within our minds through utilizing money as that point. We don't question this fully. And many of us embrace this point fully, where how we act, how we look represents the value of money. We we may feel pretty or beautiful or handsome if we are wearing expensive clothes or expensive makeup, or hair products, or the opposite happens where we feel ugly and s...

What is purpose, money?

Money Money Money is something difficult/challenging to work with. It is one of those top things that possess people in general. Another one of those things is romances/sex. If you observe people, you can see how people are morphed and changed when making money. That how they become and change with making money carries into their personality, in such a way that it is always present in their life. It might involve becoming hard, tough, harsh. It may involve becoming stressed, nervous, worried, anxious. And it will eventually manifest in their bodies, in the coloration of their eyes, their skin, in their facial complexion. It will change how they walk, talk, move, and lack of sleep. It can possess your thoughts, your imaginations, desires, and memories. You can self-reflect to see how true this is for you. Money is one of those challenges in life that must be faced and overcome. Facing and overcoming it doesn't necessarily mean becoming rich/wealthy. No. It means being able to ...

What money's purpose is 325

Image
So the importance of money. So to illustrate this, I will point to this scene in a 1979 animate movie called Jack Frost. In this scene the poor villagers made their own money, and this helped them as they had no money. All of their money was taken by their ruler. So in this scene this shows how easily one can help themselves by making their own money. As well, the importance of having enough money in circulation among people, which means people must have money for it to circulate. https://youtu.be/w1vgtArmuvQ?t=7m39s So really. Money should be available to everyone equally. And this can be seen by the fact that money's only purpose is to make sure that everyone has access to everything. But we humans have ignored and denied this purpose of money. But we can live it again. Money can be created in any moment. Money isn't real in itself. So to say I am a millionaire while there are people who are poor, and believing that is real is an illusion, as money can be erased in a...

Miami: a taste of inequality 222

Image
Welcome to Miami, Florida, a place of Juxtaposition!  I am a native Miamian, I grew up here, graduated from public school here etc... Growing up I have heard Miami is like a Third World country in the United States. But you also have the super wealthy! So what's going on in Miami? http://blogs.miaminewtimes.com/riptide/2012/09/miami-dade_has_the_second_high.php "There are few places in America where the contrast between the rich and the poor are as stark as they are in Miami-Dade County. While the rich are popping bubbly on their yachts and going in on $400 bottle service, the poor black out their windows because they can't afford air conditioning. In fact, the latest report from the U.S. Census Bureau shows that Miami-Dade has the second-highest income inequality of the 25 largest counties in the country. " So you have the poor black neighborhoods, with African American populations, and also the poor Hispanic populations as well. You also have the wealth...

So one cool opened up today pertaining to money. Everytime you spend money you are supporting someone. And everytime you hoard money, you are denying supporting someone with money. So money is like a support and its cool to realize that when you hire someone to help you out, that you are supporting them with a job and so money, which is a way for the person to now support him/her self. Of course money can be abused to get brainwashing things or support addictions/habits. But regardless some of that money will end up supporting the person’s basic needs. And with that support a person can overcome their addiction with effort and time, because once you have established a addiction, it takes time to get out of it, or learn how to stop. So that is why I support the LIG as a solution to provide everyone with the essential support they need, which without we would be end up in compromising situations. We have a right to live free from this planet and be provided with the t...
