Day 777 Friendship

We are all friends. What divides us is our acceptance and allowance of separation. We have separated ourselves from each other, and so thus from joy. We have suppressed the vision/understanding that all are one and equal as me. We have forgotten the point where we all are one and equal and thus this is where true happiness lies, it lies within us being our true selves. True self means we are living the truth. The truth of who we really are. I have lost my way, and I am trying to fight my way back to the truth. Here is one point of truth. To realize who you really are, requires you realizing as well that you cannot leave anyone else behind. You need to dedicate yourself to showing others the way out and to help them. To merely say you have realized yourself and that's it, and you live a happy life for yourself, you know that's a lie. This is incompatible with the truth that all are one and equal, and the very foundation of your expression and all that exists is oneness and e...

What?! Did you really expect you could just be happy and F!@# around and that's it?

Many of us want to have a good life. To find happiness. To live well. One of our dreams is to be just happy for no reason. There is a problem with being happy for no reason. In religion, if we connect with God or if we attain enlightenment, we are in bliss. We are happy for no apparent reason, needing nothing more. There is a problem with this. If we somehow simply discover a way to just be happy whenever we want for no apparent reason, because we can choose to, there is a problem with this. There is a phrase that exists: There is nothing wrong with being happy, but... So here I am saying that there is something wrong with being happy, if you do not include oneness and equality, or everyone/everything in existence at the center of your life and living. Because look at what happens: someone who attains the god-like state of bliss, of being one with God, of having their soul attain enlightenment, will literally just sit there and preach for others to do the same, and say that t...

Who will stand to make our future a reality? 321

So I have been doing audio recording about LIG, and economic solutions. Now, during my day, when my attention is to this topic, about us needing to move to get economic solutions in place as soon as possible, I have this experience in my body. It's like my arms are surging with a power/strength. My eyesight becomes heightened and focused. My brain feels turned on and alert. I would be ready to tackle any problem or task, well, fast, and correctly. So this sort of relates to the topic of late about being turned on like a light all the time, except that this appears different. Before, I was still sort of tired, within being activated/stimulated. What I am experiencing is not tired. So this could be, theoretically due to me having rested, and taking rest breaks. So that when I am activated/focus that it is clear, focused, and directed. And I have been stopping myself from getting activated in cases like fear reactions, or overly happy reactions. And I have been practicing something ...

Palm Oil in Nutella destroys rainforest? 292

Well, a whole lot, according to France's ecology minister Segolene Royal. This past week, she urged the public to stop eating the hazelnut spread because it is made with palm oil. The production of palm oil has had a major impact on the environment, threatening rain forests and wildlife. Palm oil is everywhere. It's in cookies and ice cream and other treats you buy from the store. It's a popular ingredient because it doesn't contain trans-fats. So, is palm oil something to be embraced or avoided?...

Did you know this about your FOOD? 280

Image
So, I'm not sure how many you are aware of what happening with the food production in the world. Though chances are that the majority of people in the world don't know this. But, I will bet a dollar that most of you have been told by a parent or adult growing up that you should finish all the food on your plate, because it would go to waste and that there are starving children in Africa. Am I right? So here is something ironic. About 40% of food perfectly that is produced is wasted, and much of this happens before it even arrives in the household. While there may be some food wasted in the households, there is also a large amount that is thrown away at the supermarkets, and distribution centers. Take a look at this video if you don't believe me: So this documentary goes into detail on the subject matter. I haven't seen this one yet, but I did see another food waste documentary 2 years ago called taste the waste. So while parents are telling their children to not...

20 states just raised the minimum wage. It wasn’t enough. 228

http://www.washingtonpost.com/news/storyline/wp/2015/01/05/20-states-just-raised-the-minimum-wage-it-wasnt-enough/ Minimum wage in Florida this year rose 12 cents, up from $7.93 to $8.05. The pay bump applies to an estimated 365,000 workers. Roderick Livingston, 27, said it won’t lift him from “modern day slavery.” “I work at Taco Bell in St. Petersburg, Florida. I work as much as I can, usually 25 hours each week. I sleep in my car. It’s an ‘87 Cadillac. It doesn’t work. So, I take the bus. I am the father of two sons: a two-year-old and a seven-year-old. Most of my money goes to child support. The rest goes to my bus passes: weekly most of the time, and monthly if the money is looking good. How do I eat? I take food from work and eat in the back room. And on the 12th of every month, the mother of one of my children gives me about $100 in food stamps. Me and my kids, we can’t afford the things that we need. Anything that we want is a no-no. I haven’t made more th...

What is Justice? http://www.irishtimes.com/news/crime-and-law/courts/coroner-s-court/woman-took-her-life-on-day-she-was-due-to-be-evicted-1.2057107 Woman took her life on day she was due to be evicted   A woman found dead by sheriffs as they repossessed her home had overdosed on painkillers, an inquest has heard. the deceased’s father said he saw her on the Friday before she died and she was “perfectly calm, in top form”. He said that, if anything, her demeanor had “improved” in the previous three months. When asked by coroner Dr Brian Farrell whether her sister had mentioned the repossession, her sister said she had not. “I asked her multiple times, because I knew she was in and out of work, how she was paying it, if she was paying it and she was assuring me she had spoken to the bank. I had concerns. I asked her but she was convincing me all was fine,” she said.  ~~~  So do you see what happens when you don't have money? A woman was losing he...

A painful motivation (reminder) 210

Image
So tonight I am writing, which is the end of the day. Early today, in the morning, I made a commitment to try out something painful, as a reminder. So I am assessing right now what I have found. However, because I am writing a public blog, I should explain what I mean. So this morning, I was looking at something within me. I was firstly looking at how effective I have been in following my schedule. There was much improvement that can be done. I am also on the start making and executing a long plan, and in order for my plan to be effective I need to be consistent everyday. So I was looking into my past and seeing when I had been effective in living out a plan, or living consistently everyday. So I notice already in that moment as I looked back, that pain was something that motivated me. It was the pain of being where I was, that motivated me to seek out a better place to go, which was my college. I had to do much effort to make that happen, involving getting straight A's in h...

This is about you? - day 139

This is about you. (no question mark) What is interesting is that everything is always about you. What you think, what you feel, what you see, your reactions, your movements, is you. Its about you. What you see on tv, the wars, the movies, the starvation, death, murders, stories, animal abuse, rapes, poverty, wealth, inequality,  its always about you. What you see is you. And if you close your eyes, the darkness you see is also you. When you run away, its you. When you hide its you. When you cry or complain its you. When you stand up and stop, its you. When you change its you. So no matter what, this existence is you, and every moment you are yourself.

So one cool opened up today pertaining to money. Everytime you spend money you are supporting someone. And everytime you hoard money, you are denying supporting someone with money. So money is like a support and its cool to realize that when you hire someone to help you out, that you are supporting them with a job and so money, which is a way for the person to now support him/her self. Of course money can be abused to get brainwashing things or support addictions/habits. But regardless some of that money will end up supporting the person’s basic needs. And with that support a person can overcome their addiction with effort and time, because once you have established a addiction, it takes time to get out of it, or learn how to stop. So that is why I support the LIG as a solution to provide everyone with the essential support they need, which without we would be end up in compromising situations. We have a right to live free from this planet and be provided with the t...
