Honesty and Idealism

The Ideal world. What does it mean to be an idealist in this world? To be an idealist, according to me, is to have the ideal set within you. Where your ideal is your honest ideal. It is not the ideal that conflicts with who you are on a deep level of self, really want. And on that level you want what is best for everyone. This ideal is in fact the same for everyone in principle. There are slight variations in wording and phrasing, but the essence of it is the same message. What is my ideal world/situation. Ideally everyone is taken care of, and everyone has the willingness and the motivation to care for their individual self and that of others. That the product of everyone being cared for is done through everyone caring for their individual self and others. Now, the question is how do we make sure a world possible? You obviously need to start with yourself, and those who are already willing to become such a person. That you assist and support them, and you assist and support yourself...

What does your body need to be its greatest potential? For Vegetarians and Vegans 282

So this is something very important for those considering becoming vegetarian/vegan or have been vegetarian/vegan. I myself went to do a blood exam and I found that I was low in the vitamin B12. B12 is something that isn't found in plants. The reason why I was low in B12 is because I grew up as a vegetarian, and my parents were vegetarian, however I would eat a meat substitute that add B12 added into it. I ate this regularly, however, I remember seeing myself as generally slower and not as strong as most other people. I however didn't let that stop me from playing games, playing sports and even pushing my body. I remember being quite healthy and stronger than the average person when it came to physical fitness. But I also wasn't the strongest either. I remember specifically a moment in my childhood where I made the decision, which was also a game, to try to conserve as much energy as possible, and move as little as possible, and save it until I needed it. So I learned t...

What is my self-value? Where does self-value come from? 217

So today I experienced something unusual. That is thinking about my diet, and some other things, such as about my dog. When I would start thinking about things, this would create non-existent problems. So I am creating a flag for this generalized thinking that occurs with seemingly random things, such as with my dog or with food. What I notice within this thinking is that I would start to feel emotional, mainly sad and worried. This would lead/fuel a greater motivation to think more about these things and correct these problems, which before were non-existent. What I notice in general about this specific kind of thinking is that it relates to fixing problems. So I would create a problem in my mind, and I would then think about how to fix it. This would lead to a panic, where I felt worried, scared. Within this panic and thought, I would try and fix things, but really be feeding and validating the non-existent problems. I notice this generally happening in the world in Veganism/Ve...

Self-forgiveness Day108

I forgive myself for accepting and allowing myself to self-forgive in order to feel good, and avoid feeling bad. I forgive myself for accepting and allowing myself to feel bad. I forgive myself for accepting and allowing myself to judge myself. I forgive myself for accepting and allowing myself to not be honest whenever I can be honest without harm or injury to myself. I fear that my honesty will lead to a limitation of opportunities for me. But I also realize that if I am not honest, what chance do we have to get out of the mess we have made for ourselves? I forgive myself for not allowing myself to see that whatever is the result that is best for all, is worth whatever risks and changes I have to make in how live.                                                                             ...

Day-31:Pavlovian Conditioning, and Emotional Memory Automatic Response

Image
--> PAVLOVIAN OR CLASSICAL CONDITIONING Is in a previous blog I opened up and explained the basic point of Operant Conditioning as used and defined in Behavioral Science. Another equally important Behavioral Phenomenon is Pavlovian or Classical Conditioning. This is what I would call the very most basic way to acquire a relationship, using the history of past relationships to respond differentially to the environment. SO what do I mean? What separates Pavlovian Conditioning from Operant Conditioning (at least in one important way) is that the behavior is more restricted to one automatic/reactive response in Pavlovian Conditioning. In Operant Conditioning you are “free” to be as creative as you want to achieve the Contingency of the Reward or to avoid the Punishment (see previous blog entitled for further explanation). Classical Conditioning requires some Innate or alternatively previously learned behavioral response to be effective at creating the NEW conditioned Respon...
