Day 719 The Generation to Come

The way I see it, the generation of new children, of the next people is always here. It is always right here that the new people will emerge and take our place. It is something constant. The constant Change, the constant exchanging of hands of responsibilities. Who we are is added onto to the next generation, it makes them stronger and better than us. Isn't that something we should aspire to? Shouldn't we want other people to be more than us? To learn from us? To learn quicker than us and reach a better spot in themselves than us? Should we not want to pass on the torch and make sure the future and path is brighter and better lit for them to walk on. This is what I see the grander purpose of my life to be, and all of our lives as humanity, to make sure that those will come after us have it even better than us. Especially when it comes to the process of self-realization, self-amalgamization, self-transcendence, self-betterment, self-perfection. I really do believe perfection i...

Day 705 The word 'Friend'

Image
Friend To be a Friend The Tv Show Friends Its quite something, quite a word. This word came up in my life, and some really dark reaction was here. Its resonance its still here. Its still haunting. Its what my last blog was about. H auntings of Love . The phrase that got me triggered was "Thanks Friend" And I had said a really warm message. Basically how I heard it was an emphasis on the word FRIEND as in, back off!!!  You are too warm, you are smothering me, I am uncomfortable right now!!! So the flood gates opened up and all of it came rushing out. All the past, all the zombified memories still within me roaming around. So while I did work on some dimensions and in correcting/aligning the point more within me, I see that it would be a very juicy and fruitful method to focus on the word Friend. So to opened it up. Redefine it. Play with it, and use it, speak it. So that's my intro and here goes. How I have used the word so far is in very casual use of th...

Day 75 The 5 compromises of Relationship

Something I have lived is 5 compromises of relationship. I compromised myself. There are two definitions of compromise. The one is essentially to reach an agreement by both sides giving into some demands from the other, so that neither side fully got what they originally wanted. 1. an agreement or a settlement of a dispute that is reached by each side making concessions. The second definition which is the one that is used in this blog is when like when you compromise yourself, which means to give in or give up some very important things about you, something like being corrupted. 2. accept standards that are lower than is desirable. So the five compromises of relationship that I have lived 1. The compromise of Looking to Receive Approval, and Changing yourself in order to Receive Approval     I forgive myself for accepting and allowing myself to change myself when I have received approval in whatever form, including applause, where in that moment of approval I...

Day 74 Feeling Fear in a moment of Perfection

This morning I reflected briefly how I was having a series of perfect moments, where all was really good and going well. I saw I was having some perfect moments. And when I saw this I immediately felt a fear, because in movies and tv shows, and other stories, whenever things are going its BEST, that is when something bad happens. So I felt a fear immediately that something BAD is bound to happen next. So my reaction went from fear to kind of suppressing ignoring that I was having such perfect moments in my life. Then I caught myself. I ended up doing self-forgiveness on this fear, and I went back to embracing/seeing and simply recognizing that I was having some really good moments, a series of them all one after the other. I embraced that and went on my day. The result was that I was really enjoying my day/time. And in a way, kind of giving that joy and relaxation to others, where I smiled and was relax while saying hi. I did have other moments of challenge, where what was ...

Day 70 The Little Prince

The book called the Little Prince... I learned that love is simple. Its simple because I did it as a child. Very simple. I loved my toys. I loved my toys because I spent time with them, I paid attention to them, I interacted with them, I was here with them. I spent TIME with them, I had MOMENTS with them, as memories of experiences. I can remember them and recall them, and I cared for them. When I lost them, I was distraught. I missed them. I can remember them with fondness, with love in me. Only the children know what they are looking for," said the little prince. "They waste their time over a rag doll and it becomes very important to them; and if anybody takes it away from them, they cry..."   "They are lucky," the switchman said"       I'm very sure I understand what love is now. While reading this book, I'm pretty sure I can see it. I see it my past. I can see the moments and the people with who I actually loved and those who ...

Day 40 Sharing Self-forgiveness

This blog is dedicated to all of the relevant self-forgiveness recently in my days. I forgive myself to have fear and hesitation to do what I see is best. I forgive myself for accepting and allowing myself to hesitate removing myself from a situation where I was reacting heavily, so that I may work on myself and then later returning to the situation. I forgive myself for accepting and allowing myself to worry about the future, what will happen, what is outside of my control. I forgive myself for accepting and allowing myself to not live my gifts, my LIFE within me, my EXPRESSION, my art within me, my creativity, my beauty within, ...to not live it within my Life, within my reality, with me, with others when such doors open. I forgive myself for accepting and allowing myself to hold onto excuses and limitations. I forgive myself for accepting and allowing myself to wait for death, or something to just happen to me, before I SEE what I HAVE, and who I AM, and what I can DO wi...

Day 20 Respect

You can only ask for the amount of respect from another, that is the same amount of respect you have for yourself. If you have low self respect, you will allow others to treat you like shit. If you have high self respect then you won't allow others to treat you like shit, where you will remove yourself from the environment and/or speak up. But for sure you won't just take it and feel like shit and just continue like that. You are responsible for your emotions and feelings. You are responsible for how you handle situations and other people. Are you striving for the best quality of life for yourself? Here quality of life refers to things like how people treat you, and the kind of people in your life. There are sayings that say you choose the people you hangout with. You choose your friends. This choice determines much about you. Equally so, you choose to whether to spend time with your family. You don't have to spend time with your family or anyone. So you have choice....

Fairness

Fairness, what is it? It is certainly a word. It certainly has a definition. Based on how the word is used, the word fair is often used to express an emotional protest to something, often in the contest of another receiving something more than you. Hence the phrase: "That's not fair!!!" What is interesting is that the word equal can be used, instead of fair, and equal does not have an emotional meaning. What is equal is equal. So you can say that those people and myself are not equally receiving the same thing. Naturally, anyone who is quite stable and seeing things rationally would ask why? Why is this person receiving more than me? The answer will depend on the actual practical physical context. Maybe its a game, where the winner receives a prize. So they receive the prize cause they win. It can be grades (or marks ) where a person receives a higher grade (or mark) if they answered more questions correctly. It can be many answers. What is interesting is that when ...

The Best Way to Learn

Ever notice how in every single class, like the majority of what is taught comes straight from a textbook, or collection of books? I mean, what does the teacher do what interpret what is says in the teacher's edition of the textbook and shares their interpretation to the class. Yet the class is required to read the textbook anyway. So what's the point of the teacher really? I mean, why can't we just read the textbook and learn the material that way? That is what many people have done throughout history, learn by reading. So reading is essential. But the other essential thing is a good book, that is written well and explain what it is teaching very well. If you have a bad book or book that is plain wrong then you are wasting your time. Remember books are written by people, so a person is literally writing down their knowledge for you to learn. I mean the teacher isn't the one who wrote the textbook. All they did was read it and learn it too. So do we really need this K...

The Best For Everyone

Politics describes any situation where a group of people come together to make a decision . The group of people can be any size: a household, a neighborhood, a town, a state, a country, a continent, or a planet. It can be any decision . Politics should be aligned with doing what is best for everyone. This is because doing what is best for everyone is the best way for everyone to live.  This is because if everyone does what is best for everyone, everyone receives the best possible things, actions, gifts, support, and so opportunity to live the best possible life. And if everyone receives what is best for everyone, then that means you also receive what is best as well.  Through politics we can create jobs that serve what is best for everyone and change existing jobs so that they serve what is best for everyone. For example, where integrity is the highest principle in a job where honesty, respect, regard, honor and consideration c...

You have Cow Eyes

Image
You have cows eyes. Would you want to be told this? It turns out that this was actually a compliment of beauty back in the day. Because if you ever see into the eyes of a real cow, it is one of the most beautiful things.  And back in the day, people were more connected to agriculture, and to cows and farms. For example, before the industrial revolution. about 90% of the population in United States worked on farms or agriculture. And today, less that 5% work on farms. So there has been a major shift. People now adays have lost the presence of nature in their everyday life, and they have distorted views of the natural world. For example, calling someone a cow, is considered an insult. So is calling someone a pig. This shows how lost and separate we are from these animals. Beauty itself has become distorted, where ugliness and beauty are tied to a creation that is outside of ourselves. Namely, the fashion industry, and beauty industry. We are told and shown what is beautif...

Meeting someone where they are at

So in life, you will meet all sorts of people. Some will be rare individuals that find the nugget of truth within everything that is shared/spoken. Others will be the more common person that tends to hold onto what is their normal beliefs. The question to ask in any moment is who am I in this moment? Because you have the choice to meet someone, no matter who they are, according to where they are at, and so not according to you, or to your likes, preferences etc... So you do put them first. What does this mean practically in reality? That you speak to them on their level, within their understanding and their context of life. You do that, and you don't try speaking to them from your level or your level of understanding and the context of your life. People who have only lived a similar life to yours will be able to hear you if you speak only from your context. Thus to expand your influence and the potential audience that can listen and understand you, you must include their lives wi...
