Day 825 Realness in Media

So the Megaman legends game was a great game. I played it as a kid in the 90s on playstation. I revisted it, and reason why it made it an impact was not the appearance of the characters, the visuals: it was FAMILY and the Goodness/Realness of the people, even though real people in real life are far worse, and far more corrupted. There is something it has in common with many animes where it has that sense of FAMILY, and community, where a group of seeming strangers are actually all united and are friendly, kind and supportive. I know putting words to it already can muddle things, but the point here is that what makes a character great, or something great is actually the same across many mediums. What makes one person great is not how they look, or how they talk. Its not their accomplishments, or money. Its not their skills or ability or power. Its who they are, how they see you, how they see others, and who they are in relation to you and everyone. And that how reflecting that equalit...

Day 84 The Image and the FACE of a Person

So, having met some Destonians that I have known for like 9 years for some, that its like HOLY SHIT. I don't know them. Like really KNOW them. And that's how it is. Now one VERY specific and PARTICULAR point that I am going to zero in on is the image and face of a person. Now, using one person as an example, if I look at photos of their face on facebook, all of my judgment and preconceptions on WHO that person is based on how they look, how they smile, their facial structure, their eyes, EVERYTHING, is just completely and FLAT OUT WRONG. I am wrong in my assessment of who they are, based on image. So obviously the question is why then do we do this? Why do I do this? Because that goes to show you CANNOT trust the image at all to tell you who the person is. You cannot. Its not trustworthy. And that is Interesting isn't it? I mean really look at it. Because we are all the time judging based on what we see. All the time. We do it so often and so regularly that we forget ab...

When a thought or opinion becomes your identity 332

Do you hate or love Democrats or Republicans? Do you hate or love Black people or white people? Do you hate or love old people or young people? Do you hate or love family or friends? Do you hate or love animals, plants or humans? Do you hate or love yourself, everyone, or no one? What I have observed is that when you react to what is here, you place yourself in an inferior position to what is here. However if you accept what is here, as what is here, and then live to make what is here better, and into what is best, then you are living a fulfilled life. Therefore you cannot react to what is here. You cannot react to anyone based on political affiliation, race, skin color, your relationship history, being a friend or family member, for being an animal, plant or human. You cannot react even if they have wronged you and are not doing what is best, are not better what is here, and are reacting to what is here. For if you react, you are simply participating in the same thing that...

Reflections of right now

So there comes a moment in your life where your presented with something you could not have even imagined. And with that I found myself wanting to rush, which is like in a way living in the mind. It is not here. There is a way to move where you move fast, however it is done with at the same time being slow, and importantly aware. I suppose words fail to capture what I mean. I could write this a hundred different ways, yet I am still sure that each one can understand or relate to what I am saying despite of all the reasons and justifications that one often has being spoken in the mind. So one thing that we ALL have in common as beings, is this... being a creator. We are all equally hold this description, and strangely enough we are on this one planet, which makes this our own creation, everything. Everything you see, you have created. We create this reality together. At the same time, I have to recognize that some are aware, or maybe I shouldn't say that, because aren't we all...
