Day 682 My Perspective on the Principle of what is best for all

The Desteni of Living - Declaration of Principles  http://www.desteni.org/about-us/desteni-principles 1. The Principle of What is Best for All Guiding myself in thought, word and deed to always, in all ways, direct all things to the best possible outcome for all. Taking into consideration the effects of my thoughts, words and deeds on the world around me (people, plants, animals, environment) and ensuring that the thoughts, words and deeds I am living honour the best potential of myself and all of life on Earth, to the best of my ability. Standing unconditionally in the shoes of all people and all things, and being able to at the end of the day say that I have fully considered all within the context of creating the best possible outcome for everyone and everything – that I have honored and considered them in the way that I would like to be honored and considered.  (There are 13 principles in total, click the link to read them all on the Desteni...

Day 37 The purpose of laws and rules

Laws and rules should serve Man, or Life! If a law or rule doesn't serve what is best for all, best for Life, then it is Invalid. Following a law or rule just because its a law or rule makes no sense. Following a law or rule to avoid the consequences make sense. Doing what one can do to improve the awareness of Humanity, and the quality of Self so that LAWS and RULES serve no basis for the REASONS of one's actions, and that wholly the reasons and PURPOSE of your actions and living is in accordance with the PRINCIPLES WITHIN you that are aligned to what is best for all or existence or Life. That is when the Human is trustworthy, because one's actions is due to that which is within  you that IS NOT fear or emotion or thought. Instead it is instinct, it is so principled and so ingrained in the fiber of your being and self, that you act and do it, and speak it without hesitation in a moment. You ARE IT. You ARE what is BEST for ALL. It is YOU already, as your body, as ...

Day 33 Creativity! Music, Art, Dance!

There are many ways to be creative, not just with art, music or dance. Though this blog for today is dedicated to just those areas of creativity. Leaping into the air and dancing like you just don't care! Feeling your body as it moves, the wind, the air, the breathing, the rhythm, the sound of the music or the sound of the room. Taking something that didn't exist before and bringing it into creation. It can be WORDS that were never written or expressed before! The jolly Giraffe soared on roller blades under pink flamingo skies! Art is just that! Creating forms and shapes that never existed before. It is a part of you that is expressed into something new. Music! Creating a sound a moment that is an extension of yourself into the environment around you! Playing a piece of music spontaneously freestyle where you lose track whether you are creating the music and rather the music is creating itself and you just have the honor of bearing witness to it. Doing something, expres...

Blame Game! Are you ready for level 2? Games for life! 278

Image
Let's play a game. I challenge you to not have any blame. So list everyone that you blame. Here is a generic list. 1. Politicians 2. Government 3. Corporations 4. Millionairs/Billionaires 5. Ceos 6. Society 7. Teachers 8. Parents 9. Siblings 10. Authority So Mark off everyone that you blame. With this list, stop the blame. For each person, look at what you are blaming this person/people for, and see how you could change/act that would support the outcome that your prefer. To stop the blame, simply focus on yourself and acting in the way that will create what you want. So the trick to stopping blame is to take more responsibility. Okay, so are you ready for level 2? Level 2 is taking it to the next level. It is to see whether you will change when things change around you. So you have to be able to stay the same, be the same person even when things around you become extreme. So in your mind, imagine extreme situations, and challenge yourself to stay the same. A...

Im not the only one 231

Im not the only one So these words are specific, "Im not the only one." At first glance, they might not seem much, however I ask you to look at these words with me: "I'm not the only one," and join me in asking ourselves have I really lived these words and the realization/truth that they are? In my life in totality, I haven't because I have for the most part only considered ME, and my life, and what mattered to me. I wasn't considering other people, and their lives. Today there was one such instance that I would like to draw upon within redefining and changing me, and my behavior and how I relate to others, and this world. I won't go into the details, like dates, facts and names, about this event, but the principles and nature of the event is important. I was reacting to a specific person, and it was a rather unusual and peculiar reaction. So I was working at understanding what is going on here, until I came to the point that I am not the only...

What has been forsaken and forgotten, and is the only thing that matters? Day 186

"I am one and equal to a tree." I remember early on, there was a moment when I had recently heard of oneness and equality, and I wanted to apply the principle absolutely. When I said/thought the statement that "I am one and equal to a tree," I had an interesting reaction. I reacted with resistance, as if saying "No I am not one and equal to a tree, I am above a tree." I saw that this statement was saying also how I was less than a tree for saying how "I am above a tree." That is when I learned several things. One, if anyone says they are above something, then that means they are below it. Two, if anyone has resistance to saying that they are equal to something, whatever that may be, then they are actually participating in inferiority. You see, when a person sees themselves as superior, its because they actually feel inferior. If a person didn't feel inferior, they wouldn't have to try and appear and believe that they are superior. They ...

Valuing Writing more than Application

So one thing that I have been doing is valuing the part of process of writing more than the part of application. So I write about something, and then I forget about what I wrote and also ignore my application within my daily living. And I feel guilty when I don't write as if what I write is the point of my process of self-change, which it isn't, it is in fact only a part, one stepping stone within process. Its just as important to apply what I write and to actually change. I forgive myself for accepting and allowing myself to feel guilty when I don't write. I forgive myself for accepting and allowing myself to value writing more than the application of my writing. I forgive myself for accepting and allowing myself to ignore moments where I can apply what I wrote in my daily living. I forgive myself for accepting and allowing myself to forget what I write about, especially points where I can change in my daily living and practical application. I commit myself to everyti...
