Annoucement: Taking a new direction...

So this blog will be focusing on the topic: What is it like to live through the eyes of a child on this earth? Various topics will be covered. Some examples include child labor, children soldiers, children living in poverty, child refugees, child prostitution, and children sex trafficking, pedophilia as mental dysfunction. Other topics that will be covered will answer questions such as: What is it like as a child to have a family? To be raised by parents? To go through the education system? To grow up in the modern culture, including music, fashion, popularity, purpose, celebrities, and money?  In essence the we will be investigating the following: what problems do children face today, and what solutions/options are available to them or how you as an adult can support them?

Then and Now: Who am I?

Image
So back then, around when I took this photo, before Desteni, I had trouble expressing myself. I would be known as the quiet and shy one. I wouldn't share what I thought, unless I felt confident that I would look good or positive in the eyes of others. So I felt I always had to say the right thing all the time. That I wasn't allowed to say the wrong thing.... ever. Now, I am much different. I still have things to learn and expand upon, but in this area of myself, I do see obvious differences, as well as my process or history of change where I experimented and tested out my expression. So, for example I would start sharing the blunt honesty of myself and what I saw as what is best for all and oneness and equality. Initially I would feel extremely nervous and panicked, yet I pushed myself to share what I saw. And I noticed that I would speak in quite a panicked, loud, way, because of the fears I had. Yet within it I did speak in stability as what I said, where I knew there w...

Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr... self-forgiveness for

Image
I forgive myself for accepting and allowing myself to be afraid of being attacked and hurt by someone's words. I forgive myself for accepting and allowing myself to be afraid of arguementative, attackative, aggressive, angry people. I forgive myself for accepting and allowing myself to be afraid of someone becoming arguementative and attackative in response to me. I forgive myself for accepting and allowing myself to be afraid of sharing, speaking, and writing, because I am afraid of someone being arguementative, attackative, aggressive in response, and I fear that those responses will hurt me emotionally, where I react with feeling inferior, hurt, belittled, feel less than, pushed away, isolated, alone, dumb, useless, worthless. I forgive myself for accepting and allowing myself to blame someone else for how I feel. I forgive myself for accepting and allowing myself to blame the words that someone else spoke or wrote for making me feel a certain way. The Frogivenes...

Make me special

When I judge someone as special, I fear doing something they disapprove. I wish to be in their approval. Also, I see them as someone that I can abuse and treat badly sometimes. And that I can abuse and treat badly others that are not them. For many people, family is like this. You treat your family both special and also horribly. You both listen to them and seek their approval, and seek to annoy them. Such is the life for many people. Can life be better? A better life is when we include all people in our consideration where there is a freedom within equality. Where you don't seek family approval, but instead live in a way that is truly in harmony with ALL, including yourself as you are part of all. All means all plants too, and all animals, and Earth and existence, as well as people. I forgive myself for accepting and allowing myself to not make everyone equally special, and so realizing special is an illusion, and instead a harmony and balance with existence is needed.

Being Positive

What does it practically mean to be Positive in this world, in such a way that it supports oneself as well as everyone else? So this means for example, always looking for the solution to problems that exists, that one encounters, and assist others to see the solutions that exists in the problems they face. It also means being proactive, meaning that when one encounters the problem and sees the solution, that one immediately moves to manifesting that solution into reality. That it doesn't just stay within one's mind as a thought or an idea. That one actually creates it and makes it so. It also means that one doesn't participate within problems and create more problems that don't exist. Instead one is able to analyze problems, deconstruct problems so to understand them, because the more one understands the problem, the more one understands the solution. Because the solution is found WITHIN the problem. To be positive in this world means that when one encounters a ...

Embarrassing Story - Anorexic?

So what I am about to share may seem like an embarrassing story. So I will start it out just like that. When I entered college I had a belief that there are people that don't need to eat to live, and to become this way is fairly easy, if one is very spiritual. From this belief, I started eating less and less. I would push myself to what they call fast. I would let myself feel the hunger, and not act on it. So over time I forgot about this belief and doing this. Instead I was focused on studying and the stress. And I would skip meals, or wait to eat, because I didn't have enough time. And I found that I stopped feeling hungry, and I had to actually remind myself to eat regularly. So this has still affected me until today, where I have trouble feeling hungry. So based on what I did in college, I believe that I conditioned myself to suppress/ignore feeling hunger. Because I wouldn't respond to it. Similar to an anorexic person. So something I started doing now was eating m...

You have Cow Eyes

Image
You have cows eyes. Would you want to be told this? It turns out that this was actually a compliment of beauty back in the day. Because if you ever see into the eyes of a real cow, it is one of the most beautiful things.  And back in the day, people were more connected to agriculture, and to cows and farms. For example, before the industrial revolution. about 90% of the population in United States worked on farms or agriculture. And today, less that 5% work on farms. So there has been a major shift. People now adays have lost the presence of nature in their everyday life, and they have distorted views of the natural world. For example, calling someone a cow, is considered an insult. So is calling someone a pig. This shows how lost and separate we are from these animals. Beauty itself has become distorted, where ugliness and beauty are tied to a creation that is outside of ourselves. Namely, the fashion industry, and beauty industry. We are told and shown what is beautif...

Money Defines Me

Image
So I saw this video and decided to do a post on this subject. https://www.facebook.com/video.php?v=997679220290124 So within me I have identified the same point, and it is a common point in people of today. Where how much money you make is something that defines and values people. This is a sad point. Because we miss so much on so many great people, and we miss out so much in life. Because for example, we believe that something has to cost money to be fun. When fun is here to be had anywhere. You can have fun with objects, with nature and people, and it doesn't cost any money. So much becomes limited and put into a box within our minds through utilizing money as that point. We don't question this fully. And many of us embrace this point fully, where how we act, how we look represents the value of money. We we may feel pretty or beautiful or handsome if we are wearing expensive clothes or expensive makeup, or hair products, or the opposite happens where we feel ugly and s...

Working with Constructive Criticism

So I was presented with constructive criticism, and so I faced an old pattern where when someone provides critical feedback, I resist and react personally. So the correction is to listen to the feedback and try it out. It is a simple point, yet the correction is not often applied by many people. To support others, what I do is to see what I am feeling, to breathe, and firstly agree unconditionally to try out what the person is saying. So within that I am clear and objective and honest. If I feel emotional or resistance, that means my breathing wasn't effective, so also my decision to stop wasn't effective.

The world is your responsibility

Image
So what does this reveal? This image reveals how debt is. So we "made" money out of thin air. So what is money but a decision to have a certain good/service provided? Look at it yourself. You could basically create a utopian society based on the same principle. Simply give people orders/directions on what good/service to provide... that is exactly what we have already anyway. The difference is that if we with awareness create such a society EXACTLY how we want it to be, then we would all be better off. We would have better STUFF, better houses, better equipment, things, better food, better everything. Only because the decisions that are made now on what good/services are provided, are not best for everyone, is it so. So all that needs to change is the decision, which WE can do with awareness, meaning we decide what we would actually like the world to be. I mean people are already doing that already, aren't they? So we might as well do it ourselves, righ...

What does Movies, Stories, Friendships, Relationships have in common?

So what does Movies, stories, friendships, relationships have in common? They all have the potential for you to learn something valuable useful. And they all cannot show you or teach you every lesson that you will learn. Each can only show you only so much, and it is often just one, two, or a few points at a time. Even the most wisest and accomplish person can only show you just a little of what they have lived. Partially this is because of physical restraints, and also because of what lesson you are ready for now. A person cannot hear or understand something they are not ready for. A lesson is something that you must hear and see for yourself. You might pick up something that no one else saw before. That is because of who you are, and what you needed to see and hear. In truth there is no great or perfect movie, story, friendship or relationship. Where it is something concrete, and like a fixed image. There is only what YOU, Yourself can be and become that will allow you to pick ...

Message to those who gave up

So, each person has or had that spark within them, within their expression. Where what they gave to the world, to their immediate environment, contributed to it..... BUT, what happens? When one day they lost it... for some reason... they do not know. Within that you react in confusion, lostness, anger... fear, and you don't know what happened. It are those moments that define you. Because it was easy when you could just express you, but now it is difficult... the level of difficulty that you are willing to allow to decide when you give up... that is your self-definition. That is your self-defined limit. That is your self-limitation. Do you see that point? So, the truth is, everyone has that spark of amazingness in who they are. That amazingness you have isn't really all the unique/special because everyone has got it within them. What is really amazing however, are those individuals that actually still live that, when things become challenging. It is not surprising to have tha...

Popularity, Likeability, loveability

Popularity, Likeability, loveability. Now, something everyone faces is when you are faced with people or persons, and someone, perhaps even you, has a form of like or dislike with another person. A simple point, no? However, can one person's opinion, belief, or view point of a person ever completely represent who that person is in fact? For some the answer may be difficult to say and face. The answer is no. However, how many times has each of us witnessed, or committed ourself to such a point of view? Plenty of times, no? This isn't an easy point to work with, because you are dealing with emotions here. There can be anger, irritation, annoyance, even love or joy. The difficulty here is to be able to really see the person for who they are currently , without getting stuck in seeing one point, either positive or negative. Not only that, things can become even more complex when you are stuck within your own reaction towards a singular part of a person, thus even failing to ...

Expectations

Recently the word expectations has come to my attention, where in different moments, I was reacting towards expectations that I had towards what others expected of me. So these expectations were/are defining my living, within reactions. I don't recall ever working with the words expectations, specifically, so that is something I would like to do here. Expectations as a word is interesting. It refers to that which you perceive another has as a desire, and in this case, a desire for me to act, behave, or do. And what is interesting here in this case is that I am have expectations or beliefs about what another has as an expectation for me. So in my perception as a belief in my mind, they expect me to act or be a certain way. Within that I react when I do or don't follow the expectation. Now here is something interesting where within doing what I expect them to expect of me, I feel something positive. This is a reaction, even though it is positive. This is a cool point to look ...

You don't always get what you want, sometimes you get something even better.

In the journey of doing what is best for all, because it here in this world and how things work, when you try to create something, it may not work. It may not work 100%, like at all not work. But that's okay. Because its not about product that you want. No. Its about what is feasible now, and what the environment right now allows for. And how do you find this information out about feasibility and what the environment allows? By proposing something, doing something, and that thing doesn't work. That is really the only way to know. So that is an example of not getting what you want, but instead getting something better. In this case that is useful information about what doesn't work. And as you adjust and change accordingly, you don't end up getting what you initially wanted, but instead you get whatever it may be. Is it better? I can't honestly say. But it certainly is possible that it is soooo good, and great. You won't know until you create it. In this world wh...

Honesty and Idealism

The Ideal world. What does it mean to be an idealist in this world? To be an idealist, according to me, is to have the ideal set within you. Where your ideal is your honest ideal. It is not the ideal that conflicts with who you are on a deep level of self, really want. And on that level you want what is best for everyone. This ideal is in fact the same for everyone in principle. There are slight variations in wording and phrasing, but the essence of it is the same message. What is my ideal world/situation. Ideally everyone is taken care of, and everyone has the willingness and the motivation to care for their individual self and that of others. That the product of everyone being cared for is done through everyone caring for their individual self and others. Now, the question is how do we make sure a world possible? You obviously need to start with yourself, and those who are already willing to become such a person. That you assist and support them, and you assist and support yourself...

Life will find a way...

The world is a tough place. But there is a promise that things can get better... if we make it so. Realistically, most people out there won't help in some endeavor that will actually change how life is. Most people are profiting from how life is not, either financially, emotionally or personally. But there is a promise that things can change, and that is given by a few people. These few are willing to help, and willing to learn and become the change that is needed. So things aren't so bad when you look at it. At least you got a chance. And we each have that chance. I mean you are alive, right? You have a chance. Its better to have it than not. Life will find a way, because WE will find a way.

Analyzing fear reactions to Paris Attack

So this blog post is not about the violence that occurred in Paris. Instead it is about our reactions to it. So the way I see it, the Paris attack created a mini war situation. Meaning that the explosions and shootings is what happens in war. So one question is why are we afraid when we hear what happened? Because, for me, when I look at people living in war situations, how come we don't feel the same fear when we hear of 200 people dead in Syria, or Afghanistan, Iraq, etc... Why don't we experience the same fear? The answer is simple, because it occurred in Europe, in a first world country and city. Because the fear you feel is a fear about your own safety. So what you feel now is about compassion or caring about others, but is a point of self-interest and survival. Because if you did in fact feel compassion for others in war situations, then we would feel the same way for the wars that are going on now in Africa, and the Middle East, and elsewhere in the world. A second...

What is purpose, money?

Money Money Money is something difficult/challenging to work with. It is one of those top things that possess people in general. Another one of those things is romances/sex. If you observe people, you can see how people are morphed and changed when making money. That how they become and change with making money carries into their personality, in such a way that it is always present in their life. It might involve becoming hard, tough, harsh. It may involve becoming stressed, nervous, worried, anxious. And it will eventually manifest in their bodies, in the coloration of their eyes, their skin, in their facial complexion. It will change how they walk, talk, move, and lack of sleep. It can possess your thoughts, your imaginations, desires, and memories. You can self-reflect to see how true this is for you. Money is one of those challenges in life that must be faced and overcome. Facing and overcoming it doesn't necessarily mean becoming rich/wealthy. No. It means being able to ...

Are you continuously creating who you are?

Understanding your emotions and feelings is a tricky thing. It requires time to investigate them, to understand why you are feeling a certain way, to see whether it is something you really want to feel, or to see whether it actually makes any sense to feel that way. But if you spend the time to understand them, you gain the power and ability to change them into something better that is an expression of who you are. Sometimes you will find that it doesn't make any sense to feel a certain way. Like with feeling irritated with having to wait for something/someone. Because you self-honestly know that feeling irritated while waiting doesn't make any sense, even though you may have excuses and justifications for it. And when you do change how you feel, and stop certain emotions/feelings, your life can become better, where you actually gain back the power to create your life exactly how you want it, and become the exact person that is the best version of yourself possible. And thi...
