Money Defines Me

So I saw this video and decided to do a post on this subject.

So within me I have identified the same point, and it is a common point in people of today. Where how much money you make is something that defines and values people. This is a sad point. Because we miss so much on so many great people, and we miss out so much in life. Because for example, we believe that something has to cost money to be fun. When fun is here to be had anywhere. You can have fun with objects, with nature and people, and it doesn't cost any money. So much becomes limited and put into a box within our minds through utilizing money as that point. We don't question this fully.

And many of us embrace this point fully, where how we act, how we look represents the value of money. We we may feel pretty or beautiful or handsome if we are wearing expensive clothes or expensive makeup, or hair products, or the opposite happens where we feel ugly and shitty for having cheap clothes, makeup or products. How limited is that?!

And then we alienate ourselves from people that are not from YOUR level of money, whether it is wealthy or not. We then start a war and a comparison game, where we bash on poor people, or rich people. And this determines who we choose to be friends with and who we choose to make a life with, or family with. And it is all justified and perpetuated by the idea of survival and having a good life through having money, or even the lack of it. It happens too where some people want to be poor and stay poor, because even that becomes part of their self-definition. This is madness!

We, as everyone are missing so much out of life, and all because of this one word, one point, money. Because of who we have defined ourselves to be when holding money, when earning money, when spending money. Because of how we have accepted and allowed ourselves to feel with money, whether good or bad. Because of what we think, believe and fantasize with money. Because of how we perpetuate all of this through our relationship with people, animals, plants, this earth, and our very own body.

For example, imagine what it would be like and who you would be, if all money disappeared. Like right now, the money you have is gone, and so is everyone else's. Who are you now? Because you only have yourself right? So who are you really? Does money really define you, and to what extent has it defined you? Would you change or be the same?

Do you want more out of this life, then just an limited experience of yourself that is defined by what is in your bank account? Do you want to know yourself, to know what it means to express yourself unconditionally? Do you want to know what it means to care, to support, to have meaning and purpose?
