Watching your pets

Watching your pets.
Watching them move.
Watching them play.
Watching them watch you watch them.
Watching them experience their own bodies.
Watching them preparing to go to bed.
Watching the pet, as watching yourself
Learning and observing them. Learning and observing yourself.

Miami: a taste of inequality 222

Image
Welcome to Miami, Florida, a place of Juxtaposition!  I am a native Miamian, I grew up here, graduated from public school here etc... Growing up I have heard Miami is like a Third World country in the United States. But you also have the super wealthy! So what's going on in Miami? http://blogs.miaminewtimes.com/riptide/2012/09/miami-dade_has_the_second_high.php "There are few places in America where the contrast between the rich and the poor are as stark as they are in Miami-Dade County. The man who never gave up

Time to share a story... of a man who with a great desire, had created his own trap/prison. So this man, since a young age had a desire to have a partner for life, a twin flame, a soul mate. He had spent a great deal of time fantasizing, hoping, wishing, with various potential suitors in his life. They were his secret crushes. None of them came to fruition. It wasn't until he was 18 and entering college did he have a real chance. And indeed, it did come to pass. In the beginning the relationship was great, wonderful, amazing. And when he didn't get his way he became spiteful. And so later on in that day when that same partner wanted him to do something for her, he gave her justice, and denied it. He spoke spitefully, he spoke in anger, and he justified it because he didn't get what he wanted. The partner reacted...

Day 949 Despair

This is a Open Letter to anyone feeling Despair. First of all its normal that life turns unexpectedly in areas you never anticipated. Your partner cheated on you, your parent's are not great at listening, your boss/work sucks, etc... Hopefully not all of this shit is happening at once. And there is great things in being alive. Typically there is something going for you. You have some people that care for you that really support you, and they may not be biological family. It can be a community online that is there when you need them. It can be a pet that gives you their presence/attention. My advice, is that enjoy things while they are here. And be good at letting them go. Because there were good times. And yes things end. Thinking won't change reality. Look directly at what you have. And if your life is going great, ask an open question to life on how you can help.  Happy Holidays
